As you said in your other comment, the age of her body is a by-product of her powers, and can be changed, what remains the same however is that her real age is X years. She was born X years ago, and whatever her powers do doesn't change that, her powers don't make her younger or older, only the body ages. In the example you provided, it would possibly kill her because if her powers stopped working or malfunctioned before the pregnancy was carried to full term it could cause a situation where she ends up with a body that isn't developed for that purpose (a child's body), or one too worn out for the physical stress (an elderly one).

My favorite theory is that Dragon isn't Garp's biological son, but his Son-in-law. After Luffy's mother died, Dragon took her name to honor her. Bonus points if Dragon was (in)directly responsible. There has to be a reason that Dragon is always referred to as "Garp's son" but Garp always refers to him as "Luffy's dad." Garp's too much of a softy and if Dragon is responsible for his daughter dying, that would explain the emotional distance.
